Finishing The Jumps

blog-jumps_001.png I did more work today tweaking the jump course on the second level and arranging the steeples themselves. Other than that, there is nothing much to speak of. I simply build and wait for Miss Bern to return.

A Jump Course

There is room, we decided, to add a jump course to the second level. I moved things around and got to work straight away on designing it. I wanted something a little bit different, so it is a course that goes over top of and around the large rocks that are scattered around the sim. To me, it is a fun little course to be jumping - something that beginners can have some fun with. Maybe my owner will halp me run through it blinded when she returns.

The Cabin

blog-cabin_001.png The trainers need another place to go… a place to stay while they are on the Ranch. I set up a cabin for them to use, and I put the pony forge in the front yard of the house. I want the humans that come here to feel comfortable and relaxed. I think it is important to provide for them, and not just for the ponies. Of course, though, I am also thinking of my owner’s comfort. She needs a place where she can feel at home. I hope that I can provide that for her with this simple little place. I think alot about her and hope that she is safe and comfortable at this moment. She means a lot to me. I pray for her, but I wonder who listens to the prayers of a latex nun.

Teleports and Entries

Mikki bought us a teleporter to use on the sim. It is making life much less difficult now. Before, we had to fly up and down to get to the other levels. These teleporters save so much time and make everything much more convenient.
I worked on an entry area for the upper level and Cheryl worked at fixing up the one on the lower level. Everything is working out quite nicely down below. Cheryl does a wonderful job at building, and I think that she has fun doing it. I know that I enjoy the creativity, and keeping busy at it keeps my mind off of other things.
I hope that my owner is well. I think of her often. I wish her well. I cannot wait for her to return to me.

Picnics and Swimming

blog-picnic_001.png A place to relax is what I thought would be nice for trainers and ponies. I set up a picnic spot and a place to wade and swim in the pond. Here, trainers or visitors can enjoy a little bit of quiet time and ponies can play around in the water. Cheryl even found us a swan for the water. One can even feed it, and it comes over to eat. It is very cute. I look forward to time spent in this relaxing little spot… After, of course, my work is finished.

Upper Stalls

TOday, Cheryl helped me set up the stalls on the upper level. They are quite nice, but do take up a lot of our resources here. There will come a time when we will be hard pressed to keep them, but for now, they are a lovely addition to the Ranch. Ponies need a place to call their own: a place to bed down and await the time they can share with their owners. I am certainly missing mine right now, even though only a couple of days have passed. Hard work keeps my mind occupied, and away from feelings of loneliness. TOmorrow, I will work even harder.

More Work on The Pond

blog-pond_001.png I found a script for some splashable water, and so I started to add it to the pond on the sim. I was quite thrilled with the effect, so decided to make all the water splashable. I also worked a bit more on adding rocks around the edges of the water…. trying to make things look a bit more smooth and natural. That is what I will be striving for here: a bit of realism, even though everything is built in a skybox. I want the sim to feel natural. I hope I can make it work and make Madame Bern proud of the place where she does her work.

The Little Pond

I did more work shaping the pond at the Ranch today. It was a very quiet morning. No real visitors to speak of at the Ranch. I worked quietly. Time passed slowly. I eventually got tired and went back to my stall to sleep.
How odd is is sleeping in my stall, but not wearing tack. It took me a long time to get to sleep, wrapped as I was in all of that hot, sweaty latex. It was a long night - a fairly sleepness night. These three weeks will pass ever so slowly.

Alone Again

It has happened: my owner left for her holiday. I am to continue to work on the Ranch - setting things up so that all is ready for her return. I will work hard. I want everything to be perfect for her for when she returns. She will probably be very tired those first couple of days back, and she should not have to be bothered with things that I could do to save her aggravation. I will do my best to make her proud. I will help to make a sim that she will be happy with.
Loneliness will be a difficult obstacle over the coming weeks, but I must be strong. At least half as strong as I know my owners is being at the same moment. She always shows such great strength, and I admire her for that. At times, it is only her strength that keeps me going through difficult times. I will be strong. I will work hard. I will wait patiently for her to return. I will miss her.

New Ideas

My owner decided to help me with building, and I am ever so glad that she did. She was quite concerned with making sire that every piece was perfectly straight, that they fit together just so.
I suppose I should have expected that of her. She has always been very precise, exacting, and demanding when it came to my training. I should not be surprised that she has the same attitude when it comes to building. She was, I must say, of tremendous help in getting the basic groundwork together. I deas that I had thought to be good ones were much improved with her instruction. I only regret that she will not be around to help me it every stage. She will be sorely missed here while she is away.
